SUMMARY:Talbot Hotel Spring Singles League - Members Only
DESCRIPTION:The Talbot Hotel Spring Singles League is a brand new format in place of the former Austin Channing Singles League and is open for entries until Tuesday 6th March @ 6pm \n1. Entries can be made online via the link below or by texting Tournament Referee Muireann Nagle 086 1953225.\n2. Closing date for entries is 6.00pm on Thursday\, 6th March 2025.\n3. League runs from Monday\, 10th March to Friday\, 18th April 2025.\n4. Players will be in groups of 7 giving each player 6 weeks to play their 6 group games before league ends.\n5. All matches will be scheduled.  If a scheduled match cannot be played please text 086 602 7658 to cancel the slot and make it available to other members.  All matches must be played before 18th April.\n6. All matches are the best of 3 sets (tiebreaker at 6-6 in Sets 1 & 2). The third set will be a championship tie break (first player to 10 points with a 2-point lead).\n7. 1 point will be awarded for each set won. Walkovers given will be scored as 6-4\, 6-4 to the receiver of the walkover for the purpose of calculating the event winners.\n8. The League will consist of 1 x 6 week playing period.\n9. The male and female accumulating most points will be deemed Singles League Champions. Winners will be notified of prize-giving.\n10. In the event of a tie on points\, played games as opposed to walkovers will count first. SUMMARY:Battle of The Clubs
DESCRIPTION:THE BATTLE OF THE CLUBS IS ON!\nWe look forward to Saturday 26th April for The Battle of the Clubs\, the first battle\, of what we hope will become an annual event between WHBTC & Hillbrook LTC.\n\nAll games commence at 2pm\, please arrive early to warm up.\n\n\nWith the exception of the top two teams\, all other teams will consist of 2 Men & 2 Ladies with\, Mens Doubles\, Ladies Doubles\, Mixed A & Mixed B.  Each match will be 10 games\, and the Mens Doubles will be 11 games.  Games will be three-point Deuce will be played in all matches.
