Part-time Office Administrator Required
Wexford Harbour Boat and Tennis Club is currently
recruiting for a Part Time Administrator
to manage the Clubs affairs on a day to day basis from May to end September.
The time required is estimated at 4 hours per day Monday to Friday reducing to
one day a week for the winter months.

The Club Commodore
To administer all
aspects of the Club under the guidance and instruction of the Club Management
Committee, meeting and greeting the new and the existing members in a positive,
competent and pleasant manner to resolve their issues. The role involves
Interacting with other staff in a positive manner and maximizing the use of the
Clubs administration system so as to automate as much as possible. The role
also involves building on the Clubs Social Media publicity campaign.
Day to day management of the club facilities e.g. opening &
closing of the club, ensuring the club house is well presented at all times.
Dealing with membership enquiries and processing new members.
Occasionally following up on overdue renewals.
Setting up of club events on Smartclub System in conjunction
with the various Committees, updating the club website and communicating with
Administration of club accounts e.g. Invoice processing,
Balancing cash, preparation of floats, updating information on Sage Accounting
Supporting the Management Committee when required with reports
and sending out communications to members.
Weekly Communications to members to keep them updated on Events
or News around the club.
Keeping Office files up to date and in order e.g. Affiliation
Reports, Child Protection & Safety Statements in conjunction with Club
Captains & Vice Commodore.
Organising staff rota for cleaning & bar staff.
Formal Office Administration qualifications are desired but not
Recent office experience essential with good up to date
knowledge of Online systems, Updating Websites, Social Media etc..
Accounts experience desired but not essential
The ideal candidate should be bright and enthusiastic with a pleasant
manner and a willingness to learn.
He/She should put forward ideas and suggestions to help to grow
and develop the club.
Garda Vetting is a requirement.
